Enjoy a night of beautiful Czech chamber music featuring members of the Los Angeles Philharmonic and Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.
Martin Chalifour, the concertmaster of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, is the highest-ranking musician at the philharmonic. He performs with a smaller group of musicians tonight, along with Christina Smith, the principal flute from the Atlanta Symphony Orchestram who is playing alongside her husband, Paul Murphy on viola. Keeping the connections going, Gavin Martin on piano is married to the LA Phil Keyboardist, who plays regularly with Martin Chalifour as well as cellist Barry Gold. Strings honors local student musicians tonight.
