Tomáseen Foley's A Celtic Christmas Tuesday, December 22, 7pm
Native Irish storyteller Tomáseen Foley, called the Irish equivalent of Garrison Keillor, is joined by his ensemble of world-class Celtic musicians, and traditional Irish dancers and singers. They bring fiddles, uilleann pipes, guitars, whistles, flutes, accordions and bodhráns to make the rafters ring with fiery traditional music, Irish Christmas songs, riveting dance, laughter and of course stories of life in the rural West of Ireland in the 1950s.
"With many frustrated and disillusioned by the materialism of the holiday season, Tomáseen Foley’s A Celtic Christmas is like a cup of Irish coffee in a neighbor’s kitchen on a dark night- warm, comforting and full of cheer." Noozhawk, Santa Barbara, CA
