Olga Kern was the Gold Medal winner of the 2001 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, making her the first woman to win this award in over 30 years. She also won the Rachmaninoff International Piano Competition at the age of 17 in her native Russia and has performed with the most prominent conductors and orchestras throughout the world. With vivid stage presence, passionately confident musicianship and extraordinary technique, the striking young Russian pianist continues to captivate fans and critics alike. The program will feature works by Rachmaninoff, Beethoven and others.
